Background information
Adrenomedullin Receptor L1 is a transmembrane protein that belongs to the G protein coupled receptor 1 family. Adrenomedullin receptor L1 expression has been reported in adrenal gland, bone marrow, brain, heart, kidney, liver, lung, lymph node, pancreas, skeletal muscle, small intestine, spleen, stomach, testis, and thyroid. Adrenomedullin is a potent vasodilator peptide that exerts major effects on cardiovascular function.
